Cox to Attend Berks County Voter Hall of Fame Ceremony
SINKING SPRING – Representative Jim Cox (R-Berks) plans to attend the Berks County Voter Hall of Fame Ceremony today at 1 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Wyomissing.

“It is no understatement to say that, without voters, our democratic republic simply would not work,” Cox said. “I am pleased to be able to attend this event honoring people who have made a good habit of voting. They have performed a civic duty and helped to shape the course of our community.”

The Crowne Plaza is located at 1741 Paper Mill Road.

“Many Americans have died to earn and protect the right to vote for all of us,” Cox said. “Even today, we have men and women serving in the Armed Forces all across the globe in an effort to protect our democratic way of life. We should never take our fundamental right to vote for granted.”
