House Committee to Hear about Broader Effects of Minimum Wage Hike

WHAT: An informational hearing to identify how a significant state minimum wage hike would affect not only minimum wage workers, but also other workers and consumers in the larger economy.

WHO: House Labor and Industry Committee Chairman Jim Cox (R-Berks/Lancaster); members of the committee; Antony Davies, associate professor of economics at the Palumbo Donahue School of Business at Duquesne University; and Matthew Rousu, dean of the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University.

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m.
