The safety, health and well-being of my district office staff and the community we serve are my top priorities. It is our honor and privilege to serve the residents of the 129th Legislative District.

As the situation with COVID-19, better known as the coronavirus, continues to unfold, we are making decisions with the dual goals of serving residents without unnecessarily putting them at risk.

With those goals in mind, my office effective immediately is respectfully declining any in-person visitors to the district office. We are still available to help residents and would encourage them to contact us by phone at 610-670-0139, through email at JCox@PaHouseGOP.com or through my website. We are here to answer calls and respond to emails and website submissions in our ongoing efforts to serve our community to the best of our ability.

We are taking this step in accordance with the recommendation of public health officials and in an abundance of caution during these unprecedented times. We, like everyone else, look forward to the day when these safety precautions will no longer be necessary. In the meantime, we are available and appreciate your patience and understanding.

While my Facebook page is a good source for factual information, I would discourage you from sharing or submitting any information or requests about state government-related programs or services. My staff and I are unable to ensure the security or confidentiality of information transmitted through this third-party social media platform.

Please take care of yourselves and each other as we get through this turbulent time together. It is during our greatest trials that we have the opportunity to show our depth of character and kindness.

God bless you,

State Representative Jim Cox
129th Legislative District

P.S. Please note that PennDOT has closed all its driver license and photo identification service centers. Therefore, while my office can accept PennDOT paperwork, the fastest way to have something processed is by going through PennDOT’s online customer service portal by visiting here. The expiration date for some driver licenses and vehicle registrations is being extended. It also is worth mentioning the deadline to submit applications for the state Property Tax/Rent Rebate program is not until June 30. Please follow me on Facebook for additional updates as they become available.
